Snow day...or Not?

So it's 12:46pm and we still haven't really started school. I had an appointment at our church first thing this morning and to be honest getting up and out first thing has thrown our whole day off!

I'm ok with it though. We've read together and will probably do more "formal" learning throughout the day but mostly I've decided to clean the kitchen, tickle the boys, laugh together, watch a movie, continue doing laundry and smile a lot!

Does this count as educating? I don't know...maybe it qualifies more as a snow day. Like I said before, "I'm ok with it".
