Extreme Makeover: Curtains Edition

Anyone who know me at all knows that I don't do well with beige, tan, or off white. So I had a great time today redoing a set of ivory-ish curtains for my living room!

Here they are after the boys and I wrapped over 30 rubber bands on each of them. We just gathered some fabric, wrapped the rubber band around it, then moved to the next area.

Here is part of the actual dying process. We pretty much just followed the directions on the package of Rit dye that we used. That's J doing the stirring in this pic.

And here is the finished product hanging in my living room. It's a bit more random than I had hoped for but I like it anyway. We're kind of random ourselves so it fits.

The boys loved this project and think the curtains look really cool. Hooray!!! One good memory made!
