Have you ever considered selling your house? Each time I think of it I dread all the work that would go into the process. I think of deep cleaning, repairs, repainting, etc. Well, we're not selling our house but we've decided to pretend we are and do all that hard work for ourselves instead of doing it just so someone else can enjoy it.
So Phase 1 will include deep cleaning, purging and decluttering every room in our home as quickly as possible. Here is the plan.
Day 1 - December 21, 2007
Bathroom and hall closets
Day 2 - December 22, 2007
Computer desk and laundry room
Day 3 - December 24,2007
Kids bedroom (I figure it needs done before all the new gifts get brought home.)
Day 4 - December 26, 2007
Find a home for all gifts!
Put away all Christmas decorations.
Clean the couches.
Day 5 - December 27, 2007
Family Room
Day 6 and 7 - December 28 and 29, 2007
kitchen and school room (these are actually the same room in my house)
Day 8 - December 31, 2007
Bedroom and outside
I'll be starting tomorrow and I'm hoping to finish before January 1st. Sounds like a lot of work but I will be so glad when it's all done!
