Resources from The Voice of the Martyrs

I spent some time today exploring The Voice of the Martyrs website and wanted to highlight a few of their many resources for any who are interested.

Just as you might expect, the first thing that caught my eye was the Kids of Courage link. Here you can read about children in Indonesia, Pakistan, China and several other countries. There are activities you can print and videos you can watch, as well as free downloads and a parents/educators section to guide you in teaching your children about this sensitive subject. You can also sign up to receive the Kids of Courage Newsletter for FREE! (You know that was the first thing I did!)

From The Voice of the Martyrs homepage you can also click on the PrisonerAlert.com link and discover how you can get involved in encouraging Christians around the world who are being persecuted for their faith. It could be as simple as writing a letter! The Voice of the Martyrs will guide you through the process. (Prisoner Alert is a ministry of The Voice of the Martyrs.)

The Voice of the Martyrs is also asking Christians everywhere to take time to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted or are living under the threat of persecution for their faith. November 9th has been set aside as the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.
