Wonderful Hubby and I took the boys to Parkville, MO and walked the trail by the Missouri River. We had so much fun and it was a beautiful day. We walked about 1 1/2 miles, observed and discussed the wildlife (including a copperhead snake!), talked about the current in the river, beaver habitats, bugs, God, underground petroleum lines and trains and best of all enjoyed spending the day together!
My favorite part of the day was when Wonderful Hubby and the boys stood on a park bench pumping their fists up and down in an effort to get the conductor on an approaching train to blow his horn. And guess what, it worked!!!! You should have seen the smiles on the boys faces!
