worth a thousand words

In light the realization that prompted my last post I thought I'd share some pictures...(since I now have a digital camera!) instead of trying to share words.

This is my littlest boy drawing a picture for his Grandma Scottia.

Here is my big boys drawing of a very special house. I love the heart shaped window on the door. He got that from a Thomas Kincaid painting.

These are my homeschooling bookshelves in their normal state of chaos. Anytime I go to another homeschoolers house I always want to see where they keep their supplies...not sure why...

This is the view from our kitchen table to the wall it faces. This map is great because it has the flags on the bottom and they always catch the kids attention and they say "Where is the country that goes with this flag?" It sparks the best discussions on history and geography!
