random update

I've recieved a few complaints lately about not keeping this blog updated and I just want to say...I'm sorry. Each month I make a goal that if regularly acheived will simplify and improve my life and I'm blaming my lack of updates on my June goal! You see I've decided not to get on the computer until the majority of my homeschool and house work is done each day...terrible, I know. No really, the computer is like a black hole for me, hours are wasted in front of the moniter each day! So, the "honeymoon" is over, time to get back to real life.

In other news, we have 12 days of school left! I'm so excited about almost wrapping up the year! The only drag is that I just now found a language arts program that my oldest son loves...so we're hitting it hard for the next 2 weeks and then we'll pick it up again in August. He's finally starting to read closer to the level of his peers and he is feeling confident in this area, probably for the first time. It's so cool to hear him read bedtime stories to his brother!

God has really shown his love and provision to my family these last few weeks and while I hesitate to share the details I still would like to share the praise! We serve a strong and compassionate God and when we trust in him we are never sorry!
